<technology> <history> <artificial_intelligence> as someone who literally witnessed the 2000s, i can actually sit here and say: yeah, it really is 2026.

everything is just tryhard corporate vibes now—more effort, more unnecessary fake-dry interactions. the stuff that used to get us hyped just doesn’t hit the same anymore. it all feels like a teaser for stuff we already saw coming anyway. no one’s out here dropping anything genuinely mind-blowing like, "yo, look at this, you’ve never seen anything like it before."

and that’s just the corporate side of it. in real life? individual effort has been completely eroded and buried. we’re not even talking about how good something is anymore—just how hard it’s being marketed. actual value is basically extinct.

but hey, it’s not all doom and gloom. machines are literally out here talking and thinking now. pretty sure we got flying cars too, so honestly… alien invasion is the only thing left on the 2026 bingo card.
